It is Valentine’s day today.  February the 14th 2013. 

It is the day we are surrounded by Love in different shapes and shades.  My belief is to show love and tell your friends and family that you adore them all year around. Still this is a good day as ever to be reminded to let them know.

Goodbye 2012 & Welcome 2013

2012 is shortly ending and another fresh year will start. It has been a great year and I am thankful for all wonderful people and animals in my life. Reflecting over what has been and what I will do next. Changes will come. I will focus  more on personal projects and I will continue to practise and learn.

I wanna thank everyone I have had the pleasure to work with so far and everyone who is supporting me. I am so exited you are all over the world and I’m wishing you all a very happy start of the New Year and a prosperous year all around. Love and laugh a lot. Stay focused & healthy.

Rain, Tears and RockN’Roll with a little Sunshine in between.

It looks like the rain we are experiencing  in London right now never is going to stop. Weeks and weeks of rain with the odd spells of a nice sunshine. I did have a little mini long weekend away in sunny and beautiful Fuerteventura recently to catch up with a longtime friend. It is an island in the gran canarias full of volcanos, rocks, dessert, beaches and lagoons. That was preetty amazing. It was very relaxing and let me charge my batteries and forced me to do nothing but to enjoy the lovely weather, food and nice company.

Another pretty amazing thing that happened recently was that the coolest blogger of all wedding bloggers, RockN’Roll Bride featured my Runaway bride shoot on her blog.

Carnation Twink, Vintage Mystique Housewife shoot and Jay Camilleri’s birthday bash at Cafe’ de Paris

Weekend just gone was another one of those busy exiting ones with several subjects to shoot and I ended up with a lot of Images to edit which pretty much kept me at Starbucks the whole sunday. I consumed a lot of cappuccinos (and I confess, some muffins as well) to keep both me and Starbucks happy.

I shot Rock’n’Roll/ Cabaret group Carnation Twink at The Fiddlers on friday night. Great gig with great musicians. Saturday morning I was up bright and early to do a vintage Fashion shoot I been longing to do for so long . It lasted for pretty much the whole day but I did have some time to rest before heading off to a busy Cafe’ de Paris for Dirty Sexy Things Jay Camilleri’s official birthday celebration later in the night. I have done a post with images for each shoot which will be posted right after this.

My Funky Camera

I love my cameras. And I love fashion and accessories. So why not use some to make my cameras look funky, fashionable and personal. So that’s what i did, With some fabulous straps from My Funky Camera. My Canon 5D got a neck-strap and the little sister Canon 450D got a matching wrist-strap. I have had them for a few years now and I absolutely love them. They are very stylish and comfortable with soft fluffy material on the inside.

Inspired to shoot!!!

Aaaah!!! The weather has been so nice in London for a couple of days now and it feels like spring is here even though we are only in February. It is only the naked trees that gives away the month though looking at the people I’ve seen lots of bare legs and T-shirts today.

This weather gives me so much inspirations and ideas and I just wanna shoot, shoot, shoot.
Any models,Muas,designers and stylist out there wanna do something crazy and creative please contact me. 😀

The fabulous bun called SEMLA!!! Fettisdagen

In UK they are celebrating pancake day today but where I’m from in Sweden we are celebrating something more delicious. Fettisdagen !! ( Fat Tuesday bun). On this day we are eating lots of what we called a semla. It’s a sweet bun with lots of cream and a bit of almond paste. Luckily we Swedes, and our fellow neighbours, have Scandinavian kitchen in London where we can go and eat this fabulous treat. I thought I’ll post a picture of it here.

Scandinavian kitchen is a great coffee shop / food store where you can find Swedish and other Scandinavian food we miss from home. Like Kalles kaviar and Marabou chocolate for example. It’s located very central in London on 61 Great titchfield street.

Happy New Year

I want to wish you all a good ending of this year and to a happy beginning of 2012. Thanks to everyone that is supporting me and following my blog and to all I have been working with this year. Models, make up artists, stylists, Couples, married and unmarried. Baby bumps and babies and all other beautiful people and pets. Extra thanks to stylist Samantha Ria for another exiting year with lots of great images and to my friend Cecelina in Cecelina photography for our inspirational talk and workshops and everything else photography related or other. And of course to all of you that believes in me.

Urban Relaxation

I did this shoot with Audrey to promote her massage business Urban Relaxation.  We wanted the images to represent the fast pace of living in London  but at the same time  that you can find places to relax even in a big and busy city. These images where shot at the Regents Canal and on a roof terrace in Angel. 

Audrey have been in the massage industry since 2006. Ever since  then she has continued to grow and improve her skills. Sneak Peek Georgina Leahy shoot.

At the moment I am working on images from my shoot with beautiful Georgina Leahy and all her fabulous pets including Slinky Sebastian the snake and Pedro the tortoise. It is so much fun and I have some really great images. Look out for them on my blog soon. 

In the weekend I will put up some images from the wedding of the lovely couple I shot a few weeks ago.  And also some from a shoot I did with the massage therapist  Audrey for the launch of her website.
